Residential Services

The Agency also assists some individuals with living semi-independently in residential homes or apartments where assistance is provided on an as-needed basis, socialization, shopping and independent living.    

The agency provides the options for some adults with disabilities to live in the community residential home where 24 hour assistance is provided to help with household management, money management, meal preparation and leisure activities.

Zenobia Corley, executive director of the KC Board of Disabilities and Special Needs, introduced us to three awesome ladies yesterday. Rebecca, Jade, and Jennifer all stay in a Community Training Home where all of their needs are taken care of. We are so proud to partner with KCBDSN - their work is so important in our community.
