About our Foundation
The Kershaw Center Disability Foundation is used to ensure that we will be able to continue, “Making a Difference” in the lives of the people we serve in Kershaw county with lifelong disabilities by offering them opportunities to reach their maximum potential and experience life to its fullest.
Here are a few examples of needs that were met during the past year with funding from the annual campaign: environmental modifications to bathrooms, individuals to attend summer camp; burial expenses; medical bills; utility bills and rent; new air compressor for air conditioners; new mattresses and box spring for several individuals; plumbing repairs and the Kershaw Center Annual Spring Dance.
Benefit
All proceeds benefit individuals with intellectual and other physical disabilities within the DDSN services network in Kershw County.
Your donations to the Kershaw Center Disability Foundation provide assistance where no other funding is available. With your help, we will be able to assist our consumers with personal care items, clothing, food, wheelchairs repairs and purchases, diapers medical bills, home repairs, eyeglasses, summer camp dental work, eyeglasses and many other personal needs.
